David D. Schlachter, of Counsel
David Schlachter is an experienced attorney, mediator, arbitrator, and instructor. Mr. Schlachter was a partner in the firm from 2002 through 2009, when he left the firm to head up the Institute for Christian Conciliation at Peacemaker Ministries. Prior to partnership at DRC, Mr. Schlacter was managing partner of Denver-based firm Tilly and Graves, where he had many roles and responsibilities, including as national litigation strategy head for Dow Corning. Mr. Schlachter is again in private practice, leading conciliation ministry Crossroads Resolution Group, headquartered in Portland, Oregon.
Mr. Schlachter helps individuals and their organizations with complex business disputes as well as organizational and leadership conflicts, including churches, using a transformative, faith based model. David’s extensive background in serving businesses as an attorney for 30 years, and full time work providing mediation and arbitration services, provides him with the understanding to help in challenging situations. His background and experience allows him to help clients address the issues which are threatening their ability to lead their organizations and businesses, while also helping individuals repair and restore relationships necessary to reach a lasting resolution.
