Intellectual Property Litigation

DR’s litigation practices encompasses some specific intellectual property litigation areas. We are involved in numerous intellectual property litigation issues in our commercial practice, including trademarks, copyright, trade secrets, noncompetition agreements, and related privacy issues. We have substantial experience litigating noncompetition agreements both at the preliminary injunction stage as well as the trial stage. In addition, we litigate trademark disputes both in state and federal courts, and inter partes proceedings, including petitions for cancellation and related matters, at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office’s Trial and Trademark Appeal Board. Finally, we have substantial experience dealing with complex electronic discovery issues which can arise in any number of cases litigated in U.S. District Court (our federal courts).
