Are the rich frugal?

The frugality of the rich. A lot of millionaires aren’t easy to spot, and are more likely to be found shopping in the sale racks than throwing their money around in high-end boutiques. Bob Weidner even darns his socks when they wear out, even though he and his wife have three homes and a net worth of several million dollars, The New York Times reports. A lot of wealthy people see money “as a tool,” says New Mexico-based adviser Donna Skeels Cygan, who wrote a book about financial security. “They don’t neglect it, but they also don’t worship it.”
